Maker’s Mark releases new limited-release bourbon

Maker’s Mark has just come out with a new limited-release bourbon and it will be available nationwide. What is it called? How long did it take to create?

Maker's Mark bottle with a glass on a wooden tableRC6 is the newest bourbon to come out of Maker’s Mark Wood Finishing Series for 2019. It is called RC6 because it was made with a proprietary finishing stave called RC6 and took two years to develop. It enhances the fruit notes and baking spice flavors found in regular Maker’s Mark with a brighter finish.

Bottles will be available in late September at their distillery and select retailers. It is bottled at cask strength and is 108.2 proof.

Only 225 barrels were produced, so once RC6 is gone it is gone. They do not plan to make anymore.
