In February, the James Beard Foundation announced a full list of its Restaurant and Chef Awards semifinalists for 2020. In May, the number of finalists dropped down to five per category.
Drew Kulsveen of Willett Distillery in Bardstown is one of the five remaining finalists nominated for Outstanding Wine, Beer or Spirits Producer. This award is given to a beer, wine, or spirits producer who demonstrates consistency and exceptional skill in his or her craft.
The Restaurant and Chef Awards winners will be announced Friday, September 25 from Chicago, also broadcast live via Twitter.
