A Day in Bourbon County

Experience Bourbon County in a way few have been able to. What way is that? What event is this? Who will be there? What should guests expect?

 

Tour Claiborne Farm and come face to face with some of the world’s highest pedigreed horses. This particular farm has raised 6 of the 13 Triple Crown Winners.

Go behind the scenes and see what life is like in a craft distillery with Hartfield & Co. Founder, Andrew Buchanan. Be led through a tasting of several single barrels of Hartfield & Co. Bourbon by Bourbon Steward, Tim Knittel, of Distilled Living. Choose one from the selection of single barrels as your favorite and get to bottle, label, and love it later in the night.

Lunch is provided earlier in the day and in the evening there is a Bourbon County inspired 5-course meal paired with Bourbons produced by some of the state’s best craft distilleries. After the meal, enjoy some cocktails and cigars from Gurkha Cigars. All Guests will be required to advise of food allergies.

Andrew Buchanan will be leading portions of the event with Claiborne Farm President, Walker Hancock, and his sister, Allison Hancock.
